Goddess Gauri is invited home and loved for 3 days. Married girls pray to her for married cloud nine and also the long lifetime of their husbands. unwedded ladies worship her so as to induce virtuous husbands. The Gauri puja begins on the third day once Ganesha Chaturthi. at the present time and age} is understood because the avahana (arrival) because it is on this day that the god is brought into the house. Following our tradition, the married girls within the house draw tiny footsteps of the god victimisation rangoli (coloured) powder, following that Gauri''s murti (idol) is brought home.
